How are contributions used?
Rock climbing development is expensive!
Most of the route development in Northern Alberta has been on the personal dime of route developers. They purchased their own hammer drills (~$1000) and other tools to build the routes and then purchased the hardware to equip them.
Developers spend countless hours cleaning and preparing a route prior to installing the hardware. Helping provide hardware makes things a bit easier for the developer!
Contributions will be used to purchase new bolts, hangars, drill bits, anchor stations, and other items to support route development and restoration.
Why should I contribute?
NARRDA's main objective is to crowdsource from our community and support route developers. If you've enjoyed the routes the Rockies have to offer - please consider making a donation today.
Contribute
Contributions to NARRDA will be used to complete route retrofitting and new route development projects. Our contributions are powered by the GivingFuel platform, and can be completed with the form below. If you'd like to make a donation via e-transfer or in person please contact us for details.
