Description

Ryan from NARRDA and Andrew Abel from the David Thompson Climbers Association met in the spring of 2020 to collaborate on a new multipitch in the David Thompson Corridor. Andrew had reached out for some hardware support for the new route and NARRDA was happy to help out with the request.

At the time, Ryan remarked about Andrew's great level of stoke for helping the community, rock climbing, and route development. Unfortunately, Andrew and his good friend Nathaniel passed away in a mountaineering accident a few days after they completed this route.

Better Together is the last legacy of these amazing men and impassioned community workers. The route remains as a memorial to two stellar gentleman who's hearts and souls were indistinguishable from the mountains and skies, and who would be so excited for you to be out there and enjoying this route that was built for the community.
